Sheil: Actually, frequency DOES make a difference. At much lower frequencies (like 500 KHz and below), the mass of the resonator is high enough to make it very sensitive to shock and vibration. At 10 MHz, though, the resonator's pretty small and, therefore, resistant to damage.
