In the Microchip data book it states that Rs, a series resistor, may be
required in XT or HS modes to prevent overdriving AT strip-cut crystals with
low drive level specifications.  What is considered a low drive level?  The
crystals I purchased have a max. drive level of 1mW.  Is this a low
specification or will it be just fine without Rs?  Does anyone know the
drive level of a 16C84?  Thanks for any input...K.R...
