I have their catalogue open in front of me. The kit project was originally published in an Australian electronics monthly magazine called "Silicon Chip", in Dec94 and Jan95. The features are listed as - stereo, 3 stereo, or surround selection - normal, wideband (fullrange), or Phantom centre channel - noise sequencer to set up balance between channels - trim control for center and surround channels - master volume control for all channels - line outputs for each channel The advertisement says "If you would like to read the two Silicon Chip magazine construction articles for this kit, send us $5 and we will post you a copy." The short form kit (cat KC-5175) is $159.50 - includes everything except a case (and a power supply). An enclosure kit and power supply is $40.00 (KC-5176). There is another kit with built in 20W amplifiers based on articles in Silicon Chip in Nov/Dec95. KC-5200 is priced at $379.00. The postal address for Jaycar is Jaycar Electronics PO Box 185 Concord NSW 2137. Telephone (voice) +61 2 743 6144 (fax) +61 2 743 2066. Overseas airmail is listed for New Zealand and Papua New Guinea as $8.00 to 500g, and 500g and over, $19 first kg + $6 per kg therafter. All prices in Australian dollars. (Usual caveats apply. I have no connection with Jaycar etc. Just thought this might be of interest). ________________________________________________ Mike Sunners W +61 8 223 2519
