With regards to programmers, it would be nice to be able to use
my current programmer, (a PicStart 16C of some form :)
under UNIX.  It seems a real shame to have to fight to get to a PC
with all the programming stuff around, when we've got literally loads
of Sun's around, which I can attempt to develop on with the GNUPIC tools :)

So to that end, can anyone out there provide a copy of the protocol used to
talk to the PicStart boxes, or is it shrouded in secrecy.
