If you're compiling for the PIC16C84, you could use the *FREE* C compiler "pic_cc" available in source code from the GNUPIC archive: http://www.execpc.com/~digalog/.magic/address.html It's only good for the PIC16C84, and requires you to use Parallax's PASM (pseudo-8051-style assembler) under DOS, but it works.
