I've just built my DTAIT PIC programmer and I'm having trouble getting it to work. I'm using it to program a 16C84, but no matter what data I try to program with (Using PIP-02), the program fails and something is randomly programmed into the first word of memory (if the programmer reads correctly). Erase and reads of the chip seems to work, however. Programming the fuses seems to fail. Can anyone give me advise on where to look? Does the parallel port ACK line need a pull-up to work correctly? Has anyone else experienced this kind of problem? Any help would be greatly appeciated. Thanks, John Safrit +<><><><><><><><><><><><><>+<><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>+ | John L.
