I have been trying to find the message from Tommy Brown of Indonesia, so
that I could quote it, but it seems to have fallen off my system.

Tommy was kind enough to supply sample pricing in one off quantities from
Gates Engineering of Singapore. These prices were almost too good.

After 3 faxes and two phone calls to Singapore, I finally managed to get a
response, which makes you wonder if you really need to deal with a
company of this nature.

Sorry Don, these are 1000 pcs. Minimum order $2000US. Please consider
increasing your order to enjoy these pricing.

However one company that did respond immediately was SI Logic of HongKong.
Prices appear reasonable for the items I asked them to quote on, however
the first price break is 1-100 pcs.

I have faxed other Asian PIC Distributors but have only achieved the
above results.

Anyone had experience with others?
