Hi,

Part of a project I am currently working involves controlling the operation
of the Microchip Promate Programmer from a PC through software we are
currently developing.

We have managed to get the communication protocols from Microchip to allow
us to communicated with the Promate, however I am having no end of problems
getting it to communicate reliably with the PC.

Has anyone else tried to do this?
What problems have you encountered?
Can anyone help?
Does anyone know the time frames in which the Promate expects/waits
for/times out etc. when waiting for command sequences from the PC?

I have upgraded the firmware on the Promate to V3.00, which has helped.

Any help would be much appreciated.
