When I do business with them, I don't send a Fax coz they get lost, I must send a post office insured letter with receipt acknowledgment, which is what I did last time to hold them to a quoted price. When I last rang for a quote on the 30-Oct, it was for 57/XTs. They gave me a figure of $9.89 (25's), I told them what I thought of that and was put on hold. A 'Manager?' was consulted and a new price was given at $5.64. When I mentioned that someone else had been quoted a price of $4.60 (I think you told me that, correct me if I'm wrong), I was then able to get these chips at this lower price. Yes, sure I don't buy in quantities of 1K or more, but in lots of 25 to 100. How does anyone get on who just needs a few of something, so he can get started with MicroChip products? I'm still looking for an off-shore source of MicroChip products! I'll be interested if you get the $3.99 price. Don... Low Cost DIY PCB's for PICs & COM1/LPT1 PC I/O Interface Kits ;!
