I assembled the kit in one evening, with no problems. I have used it to program the 16C84 numerous times and I haven't had the slightest problem with it. It includes all the cables, software and documentation you need to program the PICs. Actually, I don't see how they make any money at that price, but it works great for me. Dewey Davis
