To all users,

            I need to get a simple digital clock with alarm up and running
using a PIC16C54/56 as soon as possible. Ideally, the displays (7-Segment)
should be fully multiplexed with the input switches. The inputs are minutes
adjust, hour adjust, display alarm, alarm cancel. Further indicators are
colon flashing, AM/PM, alarm enabled/disabled (also via LED's). Microchips
application note AN529 is not suitable because it uses a 16C57, multiplexed
matrix keypad which is overly complicated.
