Hi, I would like to build an RS-232 Serial controlled Light Dimmer...

Can somebody help me with the Harware/Software ??

Ideally the dimmer would work on a PIC 16C84 and I would send
serial (RS-232) commands to it with a PC.
I think it should be interrupt driven...
It would be great to have more than on channel.... (Maybe 4 or 8)

If anyone has any experience with this.....
Maybe some pointer to FTP ?
