Due to the added expense of a cerdip package, the marginal cost increase for using a fast (e.g. 16MHz) versus slow die is not significant; thus, AFAIK, all of the cerdip package PICs are in the fastest speeds available and I would expect that they use the same power/current as the PDIP versions at the same speed.
