I am new in using PIC and got problem using a PIC16C74 to read serial data
that is transmitted by from a 8051.  Even though, I see the data been
transmitted on a scope at the receive pin of the PIC.  Sometimes, I get
an interrupt and sometimes I don't.  I was wondering If has something to
do with the FIFO and  I don't think that I understand how read serial by
using a PIC16C74.

I was wondering if anyone have any suggestion of how I can handle that
problem.  That would be very help
