I'm sorry to hear you have had a problem, but it's probably better to
e-mail me directly than trouble the list.  Anyway, the short answer to
the question above is: Yes! :-).  Just in case anybody else is stuck,
it's probably worth repeating that there is a FAQ on the programmer

Please grab this file and see if the information it contains helps
you.  (You'll find some PCB artwork - pic84art.zip - in the same
places and you might consider using that).

If you are convinced the hardware is OK you could have more luck by
using the more advanced software from Silicon Studio.  Have a look
around their FTP/WWW site:
