Yipes!  What does "impossible to get" mean???  I've got this part designed
into two production products w/PIC interfaces - haven't heard any bad news
from purchasing yet but......

I don't know of any other all inclusive part like this one out there.  If
you don't need the thermometer and the thermostat functions you can get just
the thermometer in a TO-92 package I believe.  Although I (obviously) know
nothing about the availability.....
