The PIC16C73 is a 28-pin version of the PIC16C74. The PIC16C74 uses same CPU core as the 16C71, but it has 4K words of EPROM, 192 bytes of RAM, 33 I/O lines, three timers, a UART, an I2C/SPI interface, and a parallel host port. Cheers, Eric
