        Microchip is offering a free upgrade kit for PICSTART 16B1 customers:
        If the firmware on your PICSTART 16B1 is 1.6 or earlier, you should
        request the free upgrade from Microchip by calling 1-800-755-2345.  The
        upgrade kit includes firmware 1.7 and software version 3.04.

        Or, to make life easier for you, send me an e-mail with Name, company
        name, shipping address, phone number, and we'll see that you will get

Oh, GREAT!!!  But, I doubt if the SW says anything about the 61 because I
bought my programmer before the 61s came out.
