> > Hi, > > > Does anybody know something about the PIC16C61? I found an anouncement in > EPN (Electronics Products News), December 1994. I have the Microchip > databook published in 1994 but there is nothing about it. That's exactly why you're here in the list! The PIC16C61 comes in a 18PIN PDIP, SOIC and windowed CERDIP package. 20PIN SSOP is also available. It's basicly pincompatible to the other 18PIN members of the PIC16CXX family. Speed: DC to 20MHz 14bit wide instructions 2 pages EPROM (1024x14 k) 36 registers 8 level deep stack 3 interrupt sources - ext. Int (PIN6) - TMR0 timer - PortB<7:4> interrupt on change 13 I/O Pins 25mA sink per pin 20mA source per pin TMR0: 8bit rtcc with 8bit prescaler WDT, POR, OST SLEEP mode RC,LP,HS,XT osc. serial ISP of EPROM using 2 pins There a few types not in the '94 databook. They have: PIC16C620 PIC16C621 PIC16C622 RAM 80 80 128 ROM 512 1024 2048 two analog comparators with programmable referece/treshhold There is a 16C63, but I missed the data's :-( Also there is another "high performance risc-like CPU", the PIC16C65. It seems to be a PIC16C64 with 4096ROM and 192 RAM. Then I've been told about the PIC16C73. It's a PIC16C74 in a 28PIN package. So it has only 22 I/O PINS (no Port D). BTW: The PIC16C71 got a new revision (B-Revision) without the bug regarding the ext. INT. So, thats all I know about the new stuff. I hope someone can add a info about the PIC16C63.
