In case y'all missed the latest CC Ink and parallax's add, there are
now two new version of the basic stamp:

1) smaller:  A version using surface mount components, packaged on a
        14 pin SIP board.  Looks about 1.5x.5 inches, including leads.
        otherwise, appears to be equivilent to the current stamp. $29.

2) bigger:  Using a larger PIC, but still in surface mount, this version
        provides 16 IO lines, and 2K bytes for your basic program ("600
        instructions" vs "100 instructions" in the old stamp.)  Packaged
        on a circuit board that fits in a 24pin DIP socket.
