If you use a crystal, that may be different. You could check to see if the crystal is inactive during programming mode by putting a frequency counter or an oscilloscope on the clkin pin. If it is active, I would think that you would get the same poor results as I did, but maybe not. Take care, Derrick Early (still learning)
