I've received some ideas about the microcontroller I asked about.
These include internal EPROM, not EEPROM and external serial EEPROM
for data storage.  I don't want to use EPROM if possible as it makes
program development slower.  As for serial EEPROM, doesn't that have a
limited number of write cycles??
