For anyone lse who hasn`t got it...

They are a user of Compuserve.
To find your nearest Compuserve,

Set your modem to 7E1 (7 bit, even parity, one stop)
Dial (800) 848-4480 for 300-2400 baud, or
Dial (800) 331-7166 for 9600 baud
The system will respond with
Host Name:
Type NETWORK <enter>
Follow the instructions.

Alternatively, voice info is on
(614) 457-1550

To connect to the BBS,
Set your modem to 8 bit, No parity, One stop (8N1)
Dial Compuserve
Type <enter>
A garbage string will appear
Don't panic!
Type +<enter>
Host Name: will appear
Type MCHIPBBS<enter>
You will now be connected.
