Six Weeks
New Arrivals!!!!!
Twenty-seven one day old Bantam
Chicks in a cardboard box brooder with suspended heat lamp
(rigged out of a desktop lamp and some rose-colored saran
wrap).
Enjoying
a good meal of fine ground chick mash - and stepping in it
too!
Relaxing
and snoozing under the warmth of 'mama' (the heat lamp)
Side
view of chicks. Our order contained a combination of
chicks: Eleven
Bantam Wyandottes, fifteen Bantam Rhode Island Reds and one
'Rare Mystery Chick' which came free with the order.
It's gonna be interesting to find out what she/he turns out to
be!

up all 'em juicy grubs for eating!
