Explanation of the circuit operation

Operation at the time of the car start
By making the key to the accessories position, the current flows through D3 and RL3 operates.

RL5 and also RL7 operate through D5 and also D7 by the operation of RL3.

At this time as for the point of contact inside the mirror, C is off and O is on.

The current flows with rl5-1 M O rl5-2 by the operation of RL5 and the mirror opens by motor.

O becomes off that the mirror finishes opening and motor suspends.

The left mirror opens by the operation of RL7 similarly.

It is this condition during drving the car.


Operation in the time that drew out the key

When the key is drawn out the power supply of the accessories circuit is cut.

However, the current flows through point of contact rl3-1 of oneself and rl2-1 then RL3 continues to operate.

D2 be the diode for inverse current prevention.


Operation in the time that closed the door for descending from the car

When the door of the driver's seat is opened after the key is drawn out, door SW closes and RL1 operates.

The power supply to capacitor of C1 is cut by the operation of RL1 and the electricity of C1 discharges through R1.

When the door is closed door SW becomes off and RL1 releases( does not operate ).

Because rl1-1 closes when RL1 releases the current flows to C1 a moment.

The current that flows to C1 is amplified with TR1 and RL2 operates a moment.

Through the means that RL2 operates a moment the current of RL3 is cut and RL3 releases and rl3-1 becomes off.

The operation of RL2 ends right away and rl2-1 becomes on once again. However, RL3 does not do the operation, because the point of contact of oneself became off.

By release of RL3, RL5 and also RL7 that were operating through rl3-2 release.

The current flows with rl5-1 M C rl5-2 by the release of RL5 and the mirror closes by motor.

C becomes off that the mirror finishes closing and motor suspends.

The left mirror closes by the release of RL7 similarly.

All the relays are releasing in this condition and the battery does not consume.
( Although the current flows to R1, R2 and R3 in this condition, but there is not a problem because it is the current of a 0.4mA rate. )


Operation of door mirror control SW

The ordinariness does the above kind of operation, by make the AUTO position.

When the OPEN position is made RL5 or RL7 operates forcibly and the mirror opens.

When the CLOSE position is made RL5 or RL7 releases forcibly and the mirror closes.
